Kisti Good Risse is a straightforward, confident, and compassionate attorney. She’s driven by a desire to assist families through difficult situations. During her extensive career, she has practiced family law and general litigation, and has represented clients in both bench trials and jury trials. She is a registered family law mediator and a former Tippecanoe County Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children.

After graduating cum laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Kisti joined a firm directly. She began her career practicing general litigation of all types. Her defense litigation cases have included product liability and medical malpractice, where she successfully represented doctors in jury trials. Before moving to Lafayette, she practiced at Spangler, Jennings & Dougherty in Merrillville, Indiana.

At BB&C, Kisti concentrates on family law. She has led clients through high asset divorce cases, custody disputes, and relocations. Because she knows how pressing family issues are, she is ready to answer urgent questions concerning assets, property divisions, parenting time, support, custody, and guardianships. She focuses on client communication and appreciates the one-on-one connections family law allows. In addition to her concentration, Kisti also handles general litigation cases, including contract disputes, real estate disputes, will contests, banking litigation, and personal injury cases.

Outside the office, Kisti enjoys traveling and spending time with her three children, Nolan, Preston, and Ava; friends; and extended family.
