Here at BB&C, we are committed to community. We build relationships. We establish trust. And because service is part of our core culture, our spirit of giving extends beyond the firm. For us, serving is a privilege. An honor. And, on Jan. 20, Greater Lafayette Commerce (GLC) chose to honor us: They named BB&C as Small Business of the Year.

We were first honored in August 2015, when we received the Small Business of the Month award from GLC. (In order to be considered for the Small Business of the Year award, a business must receive the monthly honor.) BB&C is the first law firm to receive the award in the program’s history.

We were in shock. And as partner Stuart Boehning said in an interview with WLFI, “You go out there and do good work. You try your best at everything you do.”

And we do. Over the past decade, we have donated more than 1,700 hours of legal services and over $25,000 to greater Lafayette organizations. We offer employees 1.5 hours of weekly volunteer time. We help clients find new opportunities and represent more than 1,000 entrepreneurs. And we strive to create a better community through civic involvement and pro bono work.

It is, as Stuart said, “…an absolute joy that we won.”
